Its Now Yokefellows Athletics

 


 

We changed our company name few years ago to Yokefellows Athletics from Accelerations and Separation. Before the passing of my sister Angela Bailey (July 31, 2021) we came to the conclusion, "if God is not in it, what is the purpose of us doing any business"? The name Yokefellow comes from the bible (Philippians 4:3) concerning St Paul identifying individuals that helped him during the challenging and tenuous times he faced as he journeyed to Rome sharing the good news of Christ. 

A Yokefellow helps where ever they can, its a personality of passion, love and care for the less fortunate and the struggling. Those that are in no position to do for them self, Yokefellow  has that Christ like fruits of the spirit within them.  There are 12 fruits of the spirit “charity, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, generosity, gentleness, faithfulness, modesty, self-control, chastity.”

 



We decide to demonstrate a Yokefellow kind of character and energy into an identity in the track and field industry. Something more with more purpose than athletic training, revenue seeking or fame. Something that had legacy aspirations and could inspire youth not just here in Canada but, all over the world for years to come. Yokefellows Athletics is born out of Angela and my journey of life in present. My sister is not here with me now, a lot of what I'm living is in her aspirations, she shared with me her professional athletic, career, knowledge and opened up her personal life experiences to me during her final transition. Yokefellows Athletics is my sister's legacy that I'm living and determined to express to the world something more than myself.

The Count Down

   Its two weeks before the Sprint Battle pilot program launch in Nigeria, the actual date is June 23, 2023. This is an important date; a lot is riding on this date when it comes to establish momentum for other Sprint Battle competitions to be established. My goal is to have multiple competitions happening at once all over the globe. Its my hope we can properly capture and market the happenings of the event on that date of the 23th to conduct another Sprint Battle in the month of August 2023 as a revenue generator. I already have a few interested parties looking to know more about what Sprint Battle can do for them as a revenue channel. Sprint Battle has the advantage of being new and the benefit of being well known in community happenings. That sounds contradictory but, that is the facts. The March "Youth Against Gun Violence (Pt1)

Things on earth are not manifested until the heavenly realms have decreed them. To understand the things happening here in this world, we must give our self over to listen and obey God's voice and command. At Yokefellows Athletics Jesus always went to the people even through many rejected Him, as many did receive Him and were saved to have ever lasting life.  [John 3:15].    Its being a few months now and the Lord has pressed upon me to hear the cries of "Youth Against Gun Violence". the mothers, fathers, family and community. These are the cries of a falling world, where sadness. anger and bitterness are on the menu for the day.   As I gave up my Sabbath church attendance, with the conviction of God's word [Mark 2:27-28]  " And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: 28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath".
